Fort Hood… are muslims to blam?
Okay so I just watched The View today where they talked about the individual Nidal Hasan’s red flags and just thought I’d piggyback off of what the ladies of my favorite show said. So first of all my girl Whoopie, who was in blatant word’s FREAKIN PISSED about the fact that the FBI or whoever else is responsible for investigating troops could miss these obvious signs that this man Nidal Hassan had the potential to be a terrorist. Nough said there. But then she went on to say how we cannot point the finger at Islam but at radical islamist, since it’s them who are the extremist of Islam. She then said that the Koran does not tell people to do these things… Well Ms Whoopie not so much.
There are actual parts of the Koran that do implicate that muslims are to wage war on Christians and Jews… now let me say I DO NOT KNOW the Koran or it’s theology and maybe those scriptures are taken out of context. IDK. I hope to find out, but just saying for now that it’s in there.
Here’s where we go wrong. We being ignorant Americans are prone to making generalizations about people and things whenever situations heat up. MOST MUSLIMS ARE IN FACT PEACEFUL. Jihadist are the minority people. Now don’t get me wrong, We as a nation must not ignore the treat of radical Islamist. Not so much us but our leaders; politicians, philanthropist, pastors, missionaries…ect. People who actually have the power to make a positive difference in that cause. But for all the average Joe’s who are taught by their family elders, pastOrs, and so on that Muslims are the treat, Muslims are your enemy, Muslims did 9/11 without noting that most Muslims are peaceful everyday people who want to cause no harm is nothing more than Social genocide.
So please people don’t feel your head up with this irrational hate that we as a nation that so often turns to Jingoism might want to feel. Be fair to those who are innocent and do not support this type of violence.
